POSTPONED – DATE TO FOLLOW: The Radio Revolution – A Tribute to Margaret Lyons

May 4, 2020

Join us on Monday, May 4th, 2020 for a tribute to the legend that was Margaret Lyons – fierce advocate, champion of new ideas, producer, program director, the first Vice President of CBC Radio and the woman who helped reshape and save public radio.

Margaret Lyons passed away last October, having led an extraordinary life that wound through almost 100 years of our country’s history and broken through a lot of ceilings. Her work and extraordinary leadership through the 1960s, ‘70s, and ‘80s laid the foundations of CBC Radio’s success today.

We will celebrate Margaret – the woman and what she gave us – with an hour long tribute hosted by Michael Enright and featuring musical performances, insights and memories from industry guests and colleagues.
