Everyone is welcome (spouses and friends too) so do plan to join us and spread the word to other colleagues. This beautiful spot by the water offers a great menu (order and pay at the restaurant). Parking is available for those driving to the restaurant and for mainlanders, this luncheon gathering has the added feature of a relaxing boat trip via B.C. Ferrie, which for seniors, is free. To qualify, those age 65 and over must be a B.C. resident and must provide one of the following forms of valid identification: BC Service’s Card, BC Driver’s Licence, BC Identification Card, BC Gold Care Card, or Birth Certificate and proof of BC residency.
DATE: Wednesday, September 24
TIME: 11:00 a.m. at the restaurant on the main floor level.
(Mainlanders should be on the 8:35 a.m. ferry from Horseshoe Bay going to Departure Bay, Nanaimo and can plan on the 2:45 p.m. or 4:00 p.m. vessel returning.
The ferry trip is 1 hr. 42 minutes each way.
PLACE: Carlos O’Bryan’s, 1724 Stewart Avenue, Stones Marina, Nanaimo – just a short walk from the ferry terminal.

Join the fun – take the ferry from the Mainland or Gulf Islands or if you’re already on Vancouver Island, drive to Departure Bay, Nanaimo where you’ll meet up with friends you may not have seen for some time while you enjoy lunch at Carlos O’Bryan’s Irish Pub!!
