British Columbia & Yukon
About this Region
The BC & Yukon Region of the PNA is a vast and geographically diverse area, home to over 400 members. While many of our members worked at CBC Vancouver and continue to reside in the BC Lower Mainland, we also have members who were employed at CBC locations across Canada—highlighting the enduring appeal of retiring on the West Coast.
Within the region, we have active Chapters on Vancouver Island, in the BC Interior, and a vibrant group of members in Whitehorse, Yukon, along with others scattered throughout the region. The Vancouver Island Chapter, one of the first established in the PNA, is also one of the largest, including many members who have retired in Victoria and communities across the Island.
The region and its Chapters are supported by a Board of Directors that organizes events and advocates on behalf of members. Chapter presidents also serve on the regional board, helping to ensure strong communication and representation across the region.
In addition to our formal Chapters, we support many pensioners living in smaller communities throughout BC and the Yukon—places that may be too small to form a Chapter but remain an important part of our regional network.
