OSFI has approved the distribution of 2023 surplus assets from the CBC Pension Plan (“the Plan”), conditional on a 40-day waiting period.
Eligible active Plan members (employees) and inactive Plan members (retirees, surviving spouses and deferred members) can expect payment sometime in July. Plan members will receive a notice from CBC Pension Administration Centre of their amount, how the amount was determined, and the date for deposit.
