Current users to receive email notices on how to register for the new and improved site. Great West Life, our benefits plan provider, is preparing to launch a new version of their GroupNet for Plan Members online portal.
As part of the transition to the new site, all employees who are registered users of the current site will receive two emails from Great West Life.* The first will be a “coming soon” message, arriving sometime this week. This will be followed by an email the week of August 13 with details to enable users to quickly register and start using the new site, by creating a new username and password. Employees will also need policy number 51089 and their employee ID number to register.
Great West advises that their new GroupNet for Plan Members site will be faster, easier to navigate and mobile-responsive, which means it will work on any device — phone, tablet or desktop. Whether you’re checking your coverage and balances or submitting a claim, everything can be done at home or on the go.

*Employees who are registered GroupNet users may not receive these notices from Great West Life if the email address on file is no longer valid, so this is a goo
