Ontario
About this Region
The Ontario Region of the PNA is vast, eclectic, and welcoming. We have Chapters in the Golden Horseshoe, Durham-Trent, Southwestern Ontario, and North Central parts of the province, each with a board of directors that organizes events and represents the interests of their members. Their presidents also serve on the regional board.
We also support many pensioners who live in communities that are too small to form a Chapter.
In our ongoing efforts to stay connected, we organize lunches, dinners, and pub events, in addition to special outings, such as a curated visit to the McMichael Gallery in Kleinburg, and boat cruises in Georgian Bay, and the Trent Canal.
Our newsletter Livewire keeps members informed on the latest events and news and features articles about what our members are doing post-retirement.
Many Ontario members worked in the CBC Broadcasting Centre in Toronto and continue to live in the Toronto area. They are represented on the Region board by four directors, who are always on the lookout for new pensioners. Get involved! Come join us!
